Supporting Run for the Rose
About the Run
Dr. Marnie Rose was in the first
year of her pediatric medical residency at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital
when she was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. The Run for the Rose
was created in memory of Marnie, and to raise funds for brain cancer research
and treatment.
The Run
now supports immunotherapy research, new drug development and clinical trials
for patients with brain cancer, as well as neuroscience research initiatives
and pediatric palliative care. The Dr. Marnie Rose Foundation has raised over
$3.5 million dollars to date to fund these endeavors.
