Integrative Approach to Patient Care
Seeking patient satisfaction and outstanding clinical outcomes, the Pituitary Tumor and Vision Change Clinic operates under an integrative approach. Clinic physicians evaluate each patient’s case and incorporate neurology, endocrinology, neuro-ophthalmology, stereotactic radiosurgery, diagnostic radiology, interventional neuroradiology, radiation oncology and pathology for a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan.
This collaborative system is modeled after that of the Clinic’s parent organization, the world-class Mischer Neuroscience Institute. A long-standing partnership between Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School, MNI was one of the first institutions in the country to integrate neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology and neurorehabilitation. MNI is the largest neuroscience program in Texas, and continues to draw clinicians, researchers and patients from all over the world.
